40 Years of Impact—And a Bold Investment in What Comes Next
As LEAD Brevard prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary, we’re not just looking back, we’re looking ahead. This milestone year marks the launch of our “$40,000+ for 40 Years” campaign, an initiative designed to invest in the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of Brevard County. While the upcoming Ruby Reflections celebration will honor four decades of impact, this campaign ensures that impact continues for years to come.
LEAD Brevard Board Chair Monica Newman McCluney of Embraer, is among those helping bring this campaign to life, inviting the community to be part of what comes next. The campaign is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: the strength of our community depends on the strength of its leaders. For 40 years, Leadership Brevard has equipped individuals with the tools, connections, and confidence to lead across industries, sectors, and communities. From business and government to nonprofit and civic engagement, graduates of the program have played a vital role in shaping Brevard’s growth and resilience. Now, through this campaign, we are inviting our community to be part of what’s next.
Monica kicked off the $40,000+ for 40 Years Campaign with a personal commitment of $1,000, setting the tone for others to step forward and lead. She is inviting others to join her as part of the “First 40”—a group of donors making a $1,000+ investment in the future of leadership in Brevard. Funds raised will directly support leadership development, scholarships, and program experiences that make Leadership Brevard accessible and impactful for future participants. It’s an opportunity not only for alumni, but for the broader community, to invest in the leaders who will guide Brevard forward.
As Monica shares:
